Tale of a Hawarthiopsis
I discovered a white, sun-deprived pup in the bottom of a rootbound haworthiopsis.
I had intended to document the pup’s growth and recovery. I took several photos showing its transition from white to green. Unfortunately, while it was growing strong, it met an untimely demise. In the end, I realize I wasn’t that diligent in my picture taking.

Sept. 6 This was the last time I was with them 
On my own now 
Sept 9. I’m not used to the sun. Got a slight sunburn. 
Sept. 10 feeling a bit yellow 
Sept. 12 I started to really photosynthesize 
Sept. 16 
Sept. 19 
Sept. 24 Got some nice color. 
Sept. 24 Feeling good after a soak 
Sept. 26 Maybe I’ll become the Hulk 
Sept. 30 I spent some time on the etiolation station, getting some extra light 
Oct. 5 Taken out of the light for a photo 
Oct. 20 After 2 more weeks under the lamps, feeling cute, might get re-potted. 
Oct. 23 I’ve found a new home 
Until mid March, when this other pup thought I was foods. 
She’s sorry, and too cute to be mad at
